What We Believe

Process is more important than product
With young children, the ultimate value of an activity is the experience of doing the activity, rather than the quality of the product produced.

Children learn by doing
As much as possible, we allow the child to do their own cutting, drawing, experimenting, buttoning, etc.

Activities are planned for success
Activities are developmentally appropriate and provide successful end results.

The creativity of each child must be encouraged
Children are encouraged to explore and experiment with the different materials.

All activities are also opportunities to help each child develop responsibility
A variety of activities are provided which allow the child to make choices.
